Thrill City, Simone number 4, Coming out in June!

The 4th Simone book, Thrill City, will be in bookstores 1st June 2010. About time, I hear you say. It has been 3 years between books, but I blame that on moving to Vietnam and the fact that Thrill City is about twice as long as the first couple. I've already started on the next one, though, and I promise it'll be short(er), sweet and finished swiftly. I actually found this website called write or die which is perfect for a lifelong, lazy-ass procrastinator like myself. If you don't write fast enough you're forced to endure some nasty consequences. Negative reinforcement. Love it!

yeah I can't wait to get my hands on it. Just wondering will there be a book launch, and any chance of getting it signed. I was lucky enough to get the 3 others signed as Leigh Redhead was our guess speaker at Campbelltown library. I was star struck when I saw her, her novels are just so wonderfully written. Cheers to Leigh and Simone

Got my hands on a copy last night and started reading - man oh man Leigh is good! It's laugh out loud funny and well worth the wait. I'm annoyed I've had to put it down to work.
See you soon Leigh :)

I cannot believe its August and I have only just awakened to the stunning author Leigh Redhead. I travelled to Sydney for the weekend for the City 2 Surf and grabbed a last minute read. Thrill City gave a new meaning to my last minute, it is fast paced, vivid and the plot cleverly crafted. I dont remember the flight, the pain after the race or the trip home, time was lost somewhere in the 420 odd pages of riveting entertainment. The only warning i can give is when you read it make sure you have turned the phone off, your partner (if applicable) is distracted somewhere else and the glass of red is already waiting - you will be truly annoyed if you have to put the book down. Great work.

I've been forced to re read the first 4 over the Christmas holidays and discovered new depths, it's true. But, God's sake, hurry up with the next one will you please?
