Time to meet our next guest - one time stripper, waitress and now Private Investigator Simone Kirsch.
The trials and tribulations of this late 20 something PI, are the subject of a new book called, Rubdown.
Fans of Australian crime fiction will know that Rubdown is the second in the series of the Simone Kirsch novels – The first instalment, Peepshow, was launched last year.
In both books, the reader gets to ride shotgun as our protagonist flirts with Melbourne’s seedy underbelly – A world of strippers, pubs, clubs, drugs, crims and the of course the cops.
But if you haven’t read either books and you want to know a bit more about Simone, then actually Leigh Redhead is the woman you should be asking.
As the author of both, Peepshow and Rubdown, Simone and all her friends, enemies and acquaintances are Leigh’s creations.
